A big thanks to those who have been to one of my gigs recently. There have been a lot of them, and there are more to come! Am having a blast getting out there and practicing all my new material on y’all!
I’m literally writing more than I can hold in my brain, so it has become a matter of live practices, and the occasional prompt from a notebook (somewhat unprofessional in my opinion, but when you have a brain like mine you sometimes need a wee hand!). I have a busy July, gigging like a mad thing and also recording my EP ‘of a lesser god’ which is due for release on 6th Aug.
I have also joined the 50/90 challenge - to write 50 songs in 90 days! Check it out if you’re a masochist like me!

That’s right folks, a blessed event has occurred. Liam Gallagher from Oasis walked into my gig at The Tron (OOTB event) on Tuesday Evening… and prompty walked back out again. May I just say, I am thankful he didn’t stay - because if he had I would have been forced to heckle him. I would have been vaguely offended if he’d stayed

I recently took part in the February Album Writing Month ( http://fawm.org/ ) - and wrote 14 songs in 28 days! These songs have been released as the album ‘Stiletto’ (released May 6th 2009). All have been recorded in my home studio, and I hope that aside from ensuring that this album sees the light of day, it will also give an honest and true representation of what I’m doing at the moment. I’m a condescending wench, but I hope not to be a pretentious one - I am very proud of these songs, and my progress as a songwriter.
With cover shots & stage make-up by the fabulous Colin Maker, the album looks pretty sexy, and I hope it sounds just as good.
